From data to connections
Structured data (databases, Excel, CRM, ERP — around 20 %) is easy to search but does not capture connections. Unstructured data (documents, emails, Teams chats — around 80 %) is rich in context but hard to search. The knowledge graph unites both: structured search with full context.
The evolution of search
String search only finds exact matches. RAG understands meaning but works on isolated documents — 500 documents mean 500 isolated searches. GraphRAG follows relationships intelligently: „Find all security gaps in Project Alpha" leads via a few hops to the complete picture — from the project to the person responsible to the security reports and the affected systems.
